Robert G Sinclair and Co is delighted to announce the engagement of the services of Paul Giles as a specialsit Chartered Tax Advisor to the practice on a case by case basis.

Paul qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and has specialised in business tax since 1986. He worked for Clifford Chance from 1986-1995 in both London and Paris and then moved on to Browne Jacobson in Nottingham.

Paul advises on a wide range of business tax issues, but in particular:

Corporate Deals - drafting and negotiating tax warranties and the tax covenant, dealing with disclosures against warranties, advising on stucturing, giving second opinions and reality checks, sorting the serious issues from the fanciful and misconceived.

Property Deals - VAT, SDLT; from deal structuring to dealing with last minute issues.

Employment - from incentive packages to termination packages, through share incentives ranging from Revenue aprroved all-employee schemes to bespoke arrangements for senior managers.
