After graduating from the University of Ulster (Magee) with a First Class Honours Degree in Law with Accounting in 2007, Ruth continued her career by attending the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen's University Belfast.

Her specialist practice areas are Litigation, Matrimonial and Employment Law.

Ruth is a member of the Belfast Solicitors Association and the Northern Ireland Young Solicitors Association.
